7 Tips for Using Your Slow Cooker and Recipes for Spring

slow cooker

While many people associate slow cookers with fall and winter cooking, any time of year is a good time to use this versatile appliance! It’s great for making sure you come home to a hot meal, and there are so many recipes that work well in a slow cooker you probably wouldn’t have to eat the same meal twice for a long time.

slow cookerIf you haven’t been using your slow cooker as much as you could, it’s time to get it back out. Use these tips to cook delicious meals!

Sear and Saute Beforehand: While your slow cooker does a lot of things well, it doesn’t do a good job at searing meats and sauteing vegetables. And, any chef will tell you that the searing and sauteing of meats and vegetables helps to develop the flavor of a dish. Take a few minutes before you put everything in your slow cooker to do these two things. You’ll appreciate the enhanced flavor.

Don’t Overfill Your Slow Cooker: Your slow cooker can probably hold quite a bit, but it’s important not to overfill it. Overfilling your slow cooker can cause your dish to cook unevenly. Also, if it’s filled to the brim, you may find that your dish boils over and creates quite a mess.

Choose the Proper Size: Slow cookers come in various sizes so you may actually have a couple of them. To allow for even cooking, make sure you choose the right side for your dish. If you’re using a slow cooker for a dip, a small one may work perfectly. A large batch of chili may require you to use one that can hold multiple quarts.

Use Slow Cooker Liners for Easy Clean Up: While most slow cooker crocks can go in the dishwasher, if you want to make clean up even easier you can buy slow cooker liners. Simply throw the liner away when you are done with your meal. These are great for potlucks where you bring your slow cooker but don’t want to bring home a dirty crock.

Keep the Lid On: If you continuously take the lid off to check on your dish, you risk losing heat and moisture. Refrain from doing this to improve the cooking process.

Use the “Low” Setting As Much As Possible: If you can, cook your meals on “low” when possible. This will also help you to retain moisture and cook more evenly.

Use Different Settings (if possible): Many slow cookers today have several settings. Some have delayed timers. Some will shut off after a period of time and switch to “warm.” Some even allow you to control it from your smartphone. If your slow cooker has different settings, learn to use them to maximize your flavor.

Recipes

If you’re looking for a few new recipes to try in your slow cooker, here’s a couple for you!

Don’t put your slow cooker away just because spring is here. You should be using it all year-round to create delicious dishes.

The Do’s and Don’ts Of Playing Golf

playing golf

Etiquette and integrity are intertwined in the game of golf. If you are a newbie, then it can appear to be a snobby list of unwritten rules. In actuality, the code of ethics is there to provide a fair and fun game for everyone. There’s a certain touch of class that comes along with the game of golf. Most courses want to maintain their integrity as a respectable place, which is why they enforce their rules on everyone. That’s why there is a dress code and designated places to set bags. Here are a few pointers to fitting in at your new golf course.

playing golfDo

  1. Yell “Fore!”: After you take a swing, it’s courtesy to yell “fore!”, so that other golfers know to take cover. A small ball traveling at a high speed over a long distance can do some damage. The last thing anyone wants is to be struck by a fast moving golf ball. Golfers know that word means to get down fast, and they will.
  2. Arrive Before Tee Time: Tee Times are tightly scheduled to allow for the maximum amount of players to enjoy a round of golf. If you are late, then you’ll back up the entire day of golfing for everyone else. Also, you’re friends won’t enjoy standing around waiting for you receiving heat from other players.
  3. Change In The Locker Room: Any wardrobe changes need to happen out of sight. Golf courses know they have a strict dress code and have provided locker rooms to accomodate you. Change your shoes and socks, shirt, or shorts in the locker rooms instead of in the parking lot, on the course, or in the club house.
  4. Stand Back: As a fellow player measures up to take a swing at the tee, give them plenty of space and quiet so that they can concentrate. It’s rude to be absentmindedly standing in someone’s swing space.

Don’t

  1. Bring Cellphones: No noise making devices should be on the course at all. If they are, then they should be turned off. A phone ringing while someone is taking a shot can ruin their putt. It’s so serious, that if you were at the Masters, they’d have you removed and banned from ever returning.
  2. Take Forever: The biggest complaint amongst other golfers is the amount of time on the course. It’s understood that you want to get the perfect shot, but it shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to line up and complete your swing. Don’t waste other people time by not paying attention and chatting away.
  3. Step In Front Of A Putt: Golfers work hard at getting their ball to the green. As you carefully walk across the delicate grass to make your putt, be cautious not to step in front of someone else’s ball. The squished grass can change the way their putt moves.

Make the game fun for everyone by being aware of how you look and act around others. Keep your voice down while someone is about to swing, move the game along, and be on time. Simple acts of courtesy show respect for your fellow players and for the game. Happy golfing!

Add Some Color to Home Your Decor This Spring By Changing These Things

After a winter filled with all things warm and fuzzy, it’s time to spruce up your apartment for spring. With sunnier days and warmer weather on the horizon, it’s a great time to lighten up your space and bring some new life to it. Color is a perfect way to do that! Here are a few simple ways to incorporate some color and give your home a fresh look.

New Bedding

All winter long your bedroom was probably a key space for staying warm and maintaining that cozy feeling, but now it’s time to lighten things up. Your bedding is a great place to start.

If you have a duvet, think about purchasing a new duvet cover in a bright spring color. If you have bedspread or comforter that you love, can you add a throw blanket or a bed scarf in an accent color that has you thinking of spring? Those accent pieces can brighten up your bedroom without making huge changes.

You can also consider changing out the throw pillows for brightly colored patterns that complement your current bedding.

And, while nobody but you may see them, consider changing your linens. Put away the flannels and grab some lightweight cotton sheets in vibrant colors like lemon yellow or sky blue.

Flowers

Whoever said, “Flowers can’t solve all the problems, but they’re a great start,” definitely knew what they were talking about. Spring is the ideal season to bring in some gorgeous bouquets to brighten up your home.

Tulips are an obvious choice in the spring. And, with so many gorgeous colors available you’ll probably find yourself picking up several bunches. Lilacs, daisies, and hydrangeas are also excellent choices.

Don’t forget to think about how you’ll display your flowers. A bright yellow vase can be the perfect accent to lovely purple lilacs, or a neutral color can make your flowers stand out even more.

Kitchen Rug

You may or may not have a rug under your kitchen table, but this is an ideal way to add color to your kitchen – a space that can often be overlooked when it comes to updating your home decor. You can find some great art deco patterns with a spring color palette if that’s your style. Or, perhaps, you’d like a floral design to go with the season.

If you don’t want to put a rug under your dining table, think about adding a bright kitchen floor mat by your sink. This will not only bring a small pop of color to your kitchen but will also provide some cushion for your feet when you stand by the sink.

Change Your Art

When it comes to your living room, it’s costly to change out major pieces like a sofa or chair, but you can change your art and easily change the look of your space. Many of your off-price retailers (like TJ Maxx and Marshall’s) have great selections of art that won’t break the bank. Seek out bright colors that will draw your eye to the art and away from parts of the room that you are not able to change or still remind you of winter.

Many of these tips can be carried out throughout your entire home. Bright pillows or a blanket can be added to your sofa. A new sunshine yellow rug might look perfect in your bedroom. And flowers are a great addition to any room.

Do you change up your decor as the seasons change? What changes do you make? What are your favorite colors to use for spring decorating? Share your ideas!

7 Tips For Caring For Cast Iron Cookware

7 Tips For Caring For Cast Iron Cookware

Cast iron pots and pans have been around for centuries. If they are cared for properly, they can last a lifetime and be passed down from generation to generation. You can prepare any dish that you can think of in a cast iron pot or pan, but you don’t treat them the same way you do non-stick pans. Use these maintenance tips for your cast iron cookware.

7 Tips For Caring For Cast Iron Cookware1. Buy Second Hand: There’s no need to go spending upwards of $100 on a cast iron pot or pan set. Go to your local second hand store or look online for people selling their cast iron pans. You can snag a deal for $5 or less. Plus, the older the cast iron, the better it tastes. The longer it’s been in use and seasoned, the better the flavor it has. If the pan you are looking at has some rust on it, don’t be scared away. That can easily be buffed out and restored like brand new. Here’s how to fix a rusty pan.

2. Liberally Use Healthy Fats: To keep your pan in tip top shape, keep every inch of the cooking surface covered in grease. Use healthy fats like ghee, organic butter, coconut oil, and olive oil to grease your pans. The grease lubricates the iron and prevents foods from getting stuck on. It also helps cook the food more evenly. Plus it’ll taste great.

3. Avoid Plastic Cookware Utensils: Cast iron can get very hot, and plastic can melt easily. The last thing that you want is a melted spatula on your pancakes. Use the plastic on your non-stick pans, and save wood, bamboo, and stainless steel utensils for the cast iron.

4. Handle Covers: As mentioned above, cast iron heats up and can get very hot. The entire pan is entirely made out of iron. As the bottom of the pan gets hot, so does the handle. Protect yourself from burns with a cover made specifically to fit the cast iron handle and absorb heat.

5. Don’t Use Soap: The last thing you want to do is scrub off all of your tasty seasoning. It seems strange to put away a “dirty” dish, but all the pan needs is a good rinse or wipe with a cloth. Soaps will strip your pan of the greases that you’ve accumulated in the cast iron and make it more difficult to cook with. In this case, the greasier, the better.

6. Dry Immediately: If you do need to rinse your pan, do it in warm water, and scrape off any stuck on foods. Don’t let your pan sit in water overnight to soak. The rinsing should be done fairly soon after the cooking. If water does touch it, dry it off immediately with a paper towel, or spare cloth and set on the stove top to dry. Water and iron will create rust.

7. Coat Your Pan: Keep your pan protected after a rinse and coat it once more in a layer of oils. A little can go a long way. Wipe the entire cooking surface of the pan to give it a greasy shine, making it ready for the next meal.

The next meal you make with your cast iron skillet, it’ll taste even better than the one before. You can use it on the stove top, you can make sauces, you can do stir fry, or you can put it in the oven to bake dishes. It’s completely versatile in the kitchen. As you become used to cooking with your cast iron, you’ll never want to go back to the old way of non-stick again!

The Best Way to Clean Out Your Refrigerator

open fridge

We clean our kitchens from top to bottom often. The countertops are wiped down, the dishes are cleaned, and the stovetop is scrubbed—but what about the place that stores our food? Once the fridge doors are closed, we typically forget to look inside to see if it is clean. Odds are, it’s been a while since you last cleaned it out. Take about 30 minutes out of your day every month to give your fridge the cleaning it deserves.

  1. open fridgeTake Out All Food: Pull everything in the fridge out onto the countertops. This is a good time to check the expiration dates on condiments, jars of sauce, and checking produce for freshness. Toss anything that doesn’t pass the smell test. Have a notepad near you so you can write down a grocery list of things that you want to replace. Try to keep everything organized on the countertops to make restocking the fridge easy.
  2. Remove Shelves and Wash: Take out all of the drawers and shelves that you can. Have a sink of warm soapy water ready for them to soak in. For added disinfectant, add in a capful of bleach. These shelves hold countless pounds of raw meat for months on end. It’s important that you have confidence that these shelves are truly germ free. Use a scrub brush or sponge to clean the front and back of the surface.
  3. Wipe Down the Rest With Disinfectant: For the walls and door, use a mixture of warm water, bleach, and soap. Take a washcloth or sponge and dunk it in this solution to disinfect the entire fridge. Scrub out stuck on sauces and food residue. Refresh your cleaning mixture if it becomes too dirty. It may seem excessive to do the sides, but remember that germs are everywhere. Just because you don’t see anything doesn’t mean there isn’t harmful bacteria lingering. Don’t let germs and mildew take hold in the place that you store all of your perishables.
  4. Replace Shelves and Dry: You’ve already washed your shelves and drawers, and have them sitting in a place to dry. Take a towel to dry the remaining areas off. Dry off any other spots in the door and surfaces in the fridge. Carefully replace all of the shelves and drawers to their right location. Take this time to consider restructuring the fridge. You can move shelves up and down levels to better accommodate your storage needs.
  5. Wipe Down Each Item and Place it Back in an Organized Space: Before you start putting everything back in its place, take your washcloth or sponge, and using the same solution, give each container a good wipe down. Make sure to get any drips down the side of the jar, and especially clean the bottoms. File everything back in according to usage, size, and how frequently you reach for it.

Once you have everything back in its place, you’ll find that you have even more room than you realized. You’ll be confident when you pull out a jar that it is still good, and you’ll know where everything is located. You’ll have peace of mind knowing that the food that you are serving your family isn’t contaminated from old germs lingering in your house.

How To Prevent Catching A Cold/How To Get Rid Of A Cold Fast

As the temperature drops, so does our immune system, opening ourselves up to more contagious illnesses like the common cold. The cold can last for weeks, leaving us feeling exhausted both mentally and physically. Keep yourself healthy this year by doing a few things to prevent catching a cold.

Prevention

  1. Apple Cider Vinegar: ACV is one of the best ways to prevent any illness. It’s a natural cleanser for the lymphatic system. The lymph system is the body’s way of removing waste. We have lymph nodes, spleen, tonsils, appendix and other organs that are involved in the lymph system. Mucus is part of the lymph system expelling our waste. We’ve all heard the rhyme, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Taking a quick shot of ACV is another way to keep the doctor away.
  2. Wash Your Hands: It’s something simple that we learn at an early age, but it’s something that we can neglect as we get older. Don’t wait to wash your hands after you use the bathroom. Wash your hands frequently throughout the day, even if you don’t think that they are dirty, and especially before eating.
  3. Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of fluids keeps your body in top working order. The lymph system can’t move the waste out of your body if it’s sluggish from a lack of water. Drinking plenty of water will make your digestion better, your skin brighter, and will help you think clearer.
  4. Eat Well-Balanced Meals: Give your body what it needs to fight against outside bacteria and germs. Having enough vitamins and minerals in your body will prevent your body from running low on resources. Give your immune system the solid boost it needs with fresh fruits and veggies every day.

Healing

  1. Apple Cider Vinegar: Just like we mentioned above, ACV is one of the best natural remedies for cleaning out the lymph system. Your body is in mucus overdrive with a cold. Help it flush everything out with a tablespoon of ACV a day, followed by a glass of water.
  2. Warm Fluids: You not only need to be hydrated, but you need to be drinking plenty of warm fluids. Water is excellent, but you should also have warm chicken broth and herbal teas to help drain the sinuses and keep the body flushing out the illness.
  3. Vaporizer: Moisture in the air can also aid your chest and sinuses to push out the bad junk to help you heal quickly. Breathe slowly and deeply to get the moisture deep within your chest to knock out chest congestion. You can add essential oils or medicated vaporizers to the steam to make it more effective.
  4. Rest: Even though rest is the most common sense cold cure, it’s the most difficult for us to do. We all have hundreds of things to do a day, and it seems impossible to slow down and rest a little. We need to avoid putting added stress on our bodies and give our immune system a chance to focus all of our energy on feeling well. Once we’ve had a few days of rest, it can also help to get moving a little bit in exercise to knock out the remaining mucus in our system.

If you happen to catch the cold, start treating it right away. The soon you start fighting it, the shorter it will be. Take Vitamin C, Zinc, and stay hydrated to flush out the system. You’ll be back to normal sooner than you’d expect.

The I “Do’s and Don’ts of Weddings – Wedding Guest Etiquette

It’s a beautiful thing when two people come together to pledge themselves in love to one another. Both parties bring all of their loved ones together in one place, for the ultimate party. It’s great fun, but it’s more formal than a typical house party. Follow a few simple rules to be the best wedding guest imaginable.

Wedding Etiquette Do’s:

  1. Bring a wedding gift from the registry: The bride and groom went through several stores and found all of the items that they want to create their home together with. Stick to it. It makes life easier for you and them. They get a gift that they want, and you don’t have to search high and low for the perfect present. Find something that is within your price range, hasn’t been purchased yet, and give them something that they can cherish for years.
  2. Be on time: Weddings follow a very prompt schedule. It’s a formal event, and you should treat it as such. There isn’t a discreet way to “drop-in” once the ceremony has begun. Guests should be seated before the bridesmaids start down the aisle. The last person to enter the room should be the bride.
  3. Turn off your phone: Don’t take away from their wedding by distracting others with an obnoxious ringtone. Silence any devices that will ring or make noise to give everyone’s full attention to the beautiful couple at the front.
  4. Abide by the dress code: The bride has taken the time pick out bridesmaid dresses, the men’s attire, and her own. You can infer what the type of dress should be by the time of day the ceremony is and the venue that the event is taking place. Some invitations will explicitly state how formal of attire you should wear. Remember, it’s always better to be overdressed than to be underdressed.

It goes without saying that men and women should avoid wearing white on the bride’s big day. Having some white in the outfit is fine, but leave the solid white dress to the lady of the hour.

Wedding Etiquette Don’ts:

  1. Assume you can bring a date: If the invitation states you get a “plus 1,” then start asking around to find a guest to go with you. If it doesn’t, then that means that there is only room for you. The buffet is priced per head, and the bride and groom need to stick to a budget. Not to mention, if it’s a plated dinner, then your guest may not have a seat at the table!
  2. Bring an oversized gift to the wedding: There will be limited space as it is. Don’t crowd the gift station with one large present. Mail the gift to their house, or save it for the wedding shower and other parties.
  3. Have one too many: If there is an open bar, then it’s there to be enjoyed. Have a great time, but don’t get too carried away. You don’t want to get too sloppy or become a chore to the others guests.
  4. Arrive too early: The caterers, photographers, florists, and officiator all need time to get their things together. Don’t arrive too early and make people feel compelled to entertain you while they are trying to set up. The earliest you should arrive is 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the ceremony.

There’s so much fun to be had at weddings. You can have a drink with the bridal party, take photos, and dance the night away. Reminisce with old friends, and meet new friends. It’s a good thing when you get to stand next to someone you love for a major life event like marriage. Keep the spotlight on them, and have a great time celebrating with them.

Ways to Save Money on Groceries

Everyone loves saving money – especially on things that they use and buy every day. We all love food, and we all want to save what we can on food items. You don’t have to change the store that you shop at to keep more money in your pocket. Keep going to the same place that you know and love, and get better deals. Here’s how you can save money on groceries:

  1. Red Plum: Red Plum is a great tool for penny-pinchers, or moms on a budget! This circular is a packet of coupons and ads that come together twice a week that tell you about what sale items are around you at local stores. If you don’t have the time to cut paper coupons, then you can print off their online coupons to redeem at the counter.
  2. IBotta: This app is free to use, and you get money from buying the same things you’ve already purchased. Click the items that you purchased at the store, then take a picture of your receipt to verify, and viola! You have money in the bank. It may be as little as $0.25 per item, or it can be as much as $3 per item. Either way, money is money, and it’ll add up over time.
  3. Search the Circular: Find what’s on sale, and stick to the specials that are posted weekly. Make your grocery list form the circulars and try not to veer from it. It’s one of those times where you may have to eat more on sale hamburgers instead buying the full-priced chicken.
  4. Look Up and Down: The name brand items are typically located on the middle shelf at eye level. To get the same products at a better price, look up and down to see if there is a better deal. Peanut butter is peanut butter, so why pay an extra dollar or two for the same thing?
  5. Raincheck: Don’t forget to ask for a raincheck slip if you try to buy something that is on sale, but has sold out. The grocery store will still honor the sale price as long as you have the that raincheck slip. Whenever you get it, you’ll have to tell them exactly the number of things that you want to purchase. You can’t break up that number between different purchases. Whenever you redeem your raincheck price, then you’ll need to buy all of those items at the same time.
  6. Don’t Shop Hungry: It seems silly, but it’s so true – never shop hungry! You’ll be tempted to buy and eat everything in sight when you are shopping hungry, especially if you don’t have a list. Have a decent meal under your belt, and then hit the aisles to restock the fridge.
  7. Buy Fresh Foods: To keep costs down, buy seasonal fruits and vegetables. Not only is it cheaper to buy produce that is in season, it also tastes better. When they are in their peak, the flavors are rich and keep fresh longer.
  8. Cut Your Own Fruit: Don’t waste money on convenience unless it’s absolutely necessary. You’ll pay two to three times more than what the fruit costs when bought wholesale. You’re only paying extra for the convenience of it being precut.

Everyone knows and loves using their loyalty card–those cards that the grocery stores give out which gives you extra deals on the store bought items. Use everything at your disposal to save a little more to give more to your family. You’ll have full bellies and fat wallets with these money-saving tips.

How to Baby Proof (or Child Proof) Your Apartment/Living Space

Kids are fantastic. They are miniature, little balls of energy that are so full of life. Everything the see is interesting and new and they want to learn everything about it. It’s excellent for their little minds, but not always the best thing for their health. Keep the kids in your apartment safe by going through these simple steps to make it a baby proof area.

  1. Move Breakable/Valuables: Kids are curious, and they don’t mean any harm, but they can be very destructive as they move through the house. They don’t identify value and sentimental meaning to things yet. Everything looks like a toy to them, which is why it’s important to move breakable and valuable items to a top shelf, or to remove them altogether. Tuck the things that you want to keep safe in a storage area far away for little hands. A stray ball or a bump could send your favorite things crashing to the floor.
  2. Crawl On The Floor: The best way to know if your apartment is baby proof is to get on their level. By changing your perspective, you’ll see the things that the child will have at eye level. Secure cords that are plugged in so they don’t pull on them, cover sockets with plastic protectors, and move electronics with batteries out of reach. You’ll notice other areas that may need to be cleaned so you can rest easy when the child puts their hands in their mouth.
  3. Get Rid Of Small Pieces: Small children explore the world through their mouth. Our mouths contain a large number of sensory nerves that help kids identify their world around them. But, they don’t understand the dangers in swallowing non-food items. Infant Children to 5 are more likely to choke on a small object than older children. Board games and hair accessories are the perfect size for a child to swallow and choke on. Do a big sweep of the house and clean out under furniture to get rid of any hidden pieces of trash that can be choking hazards.
  4. Toy Area: Give the child a designated toy/play area. Make them feel at home with a little slice of the apartment to call their own. They can make a mess with the toys and everything is out of the way of the other living space areas. Give them easy access storage bins and floating book shelves to keep their things on. It’ll make them happy, which will make you happy.
  5. Secure Furniture: One of the most dangerous things for kids is falling furniture. Kids love to climb. They want to reach everything that they can’t, and so they decide to climb on things to get higher. Furniture wasn’t meant to be climbed on, which is why it can topple over, which would seriously injure the child. Fascen things down to prevent anything or anyone from getting broken.
  6. Harmful Chemicals: Make sure to lock up any cleaning or toiletry items that can be poisonous. Band the drawers together, or remove the hazardous material altogether. Convenience is not worth an emergency visit to the ER.

Kids are easy. Give them a safe zone to play in, and they will take care of the rest. All they need other than that is some love and encouragement. Let them learn and grow by making mistakes, as long as those risks don’t involve any major injuries. You’ll have a relaxed mind while the child roams around the house having a great time.

Super Bowl Party Ideas/Tips

The Eagles are making it to The Big Game this year to spar off with the Patriots. Whether you’re a football fan or not, the Super Bowl is something you shouldn’t miss. (Even if you just watch it for the commercials, or the halftime show.) No matter what side you are on, hosting a Super Bowl party is tons of fun! Here are some game-day tips to make your Superbowl party one for the books.

  1. Open Seating: For your game day party crowd, set up plenty of seating, all with an excellent view of the big screen. You want to do your best to keep everyone together in the same room. A party doesn’t flow if there are pockets of people scattered around.

To make the room even more spacious, move everything that you can out, and bring in more chairs. If there is anything that is valuable to you, move it. When the touchdowns start, highfives will fly, and sometimes things can get a little out of hand. Move your vases and expensive rugs to another storage area until the game is over. By moving these things out of the way, you can relax knowing that all of your valuables are safe.

  1. Team Color Garland: Toss in some team spirit by decorating with team color garland. You can make some yourself with ribbons or streamers, or you can buy them at the store. Hang these garland strings up around windows, tables, or anywhere that needs some extra color. A little bit of festive color can turn your living room into the stadium.
  2. It’s All About the Food: The Super Bowl party wouldn’t be the same without tons of delicious food to eat. Have simple finger foods ready to go so people can graze the entire night. This isn’t the time for an elaborate sit down meal. You want to have quick bites of things you can hold so your guests can keep talking and watching the game. You’ll see people come back and forth to keep filling up their plate in between plays.

Simple is better. Go for tried and true classics that are little fuss. Serve things like meatballs, chips and dip, slider sandwiches, and fruit and veggie trays. You can always ask your guests to help out by bringing one of the dishes. You don’t want to be stuck in the kitchen all night. You want to be out watching the game and being with your friends. Choose simple this time around, and enjoy the night.

  1. Disposable Everything: Cleaning is the last thing you want to do after a big party. Make life easy on yourself, and get disposable plates, cups, and utensils. Plus, it also prevents any accidents with broken plates or glassware. The ref could make a bad call causing everyone to go in an uproar, and then a glass gets bumped and smashes to the ground. Stop that scenario in its tracks by only using disposable cups.
  2. Game Day Drink: BYOB will never get old, but you can also offer up a new twist to make the party extra fun. Create a drink that is the same color of your favorite team. You can spike it, or leave it virgin; either way, it turns a regular party into something a little more special.

Start inviting your friends and family now for your Super Bowl party. The game will be on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 6:30pm. You also have Justin Timerberlake to look forward to as the halftime show. Plan your party now, and root your team on!
